As part of the 2019 Bond Citywide Street Improvement Program, California Boulevard will receive improvements over the next six months.

The work, which began the week of Jan. 6, will include pot base repairs; mill and overlay; sidewalk construction and ADA ramp installations.

During the mill and overlay portion of the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane, and flaggers will direct traffic. A road closure on California Hill during that part of the construction is also expected.

Also included in the Citywide Street Improvement Program are Kerlick Lane and Oak Run sidewalks and San Antonio Street.
