New Braunfels resident earns Southern Texas PGA Bill Strausbaugh award

The Southern Texas PGA Bill Strausbaugh Award recognizes a PGA member who has shown outstanding integrity, commitment to mentoring PGA professionals and makes an impact on the careers of PGA professionals.

Chad Donegan, PGA director of golf at Landa Park Golf Course, was named the 2019 recipient and will be presented with the award at the STPGA’s 52nd annual president’s dinner and awards ceremony.


“We are so proud of Chad,” said Stacey Dicke, director of New Braunfels Parks and Recreation. “His commitment to the golf course and the city is irreplaceable.”

The ceremony will be held at The Woodlands Country Club in The Woodlands on Feb. 10, 2020.
