“Our Startzville recycling site has been very popular for years and we are grateful that we had use of this site for so long,” said Comal County Precinct 1 Commissioner Donna Eccleston. “We are actively pursuing suitable locations in the Startzville area.”
According to the county, they are exploring all options and looking into possibilities for a new recycling location in Startzville. The area needs to be able to handle about 400 vehicles every Tuesday.
Until then, residents can use the Sattler recycling location at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building at the corner of FM 2673 and River Road on Wednesdays from 6:30-11:30 a.m. or the Main Recycling Center located at 281 Resource Drive off Highway 46 Tue.-Fri. from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon.
