Voters in New Braunfels have two elections coming up in May: the May 4 local election for New Braunfels City Council, two Comal ISD positions and bond propositions in New Braunfels ISD.

Then on May 28, any candidates from the Republican and Democratic primaries held on March 5 that went to a runoff election will once again be up for a vote.

For the May 4 local election, voters should keep in mind the following dates:
  • April 4: Last day to register to vote or change your address
  • April 22: First day of early voting
  • April 23: Last day to apply for a ballot by mail
  • April 30: Last day of early voting
  • May 4: Election day
For the May 28 primary runoff election, voters should keep these dates in mind:
  • April 29: Last day to register to vote
