Communities in Schools to host Stuff the Bus on Aug. 8

Communities in Schools of South Central Texas will host its annual school supply drive Aug. 8.

During the event, CIS staff members will be at all H-E-B locations in Bulverde, Schertz and New Braunfels from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. to accept supply and monetary donations.


Each year, CIS collects school supplies to be distributed to students throughout the nonprofit’s service area.

Additional collection sites will be accepting donations through early August throughout New Braunfels.

Items most needed can be found on the CIS website and include:

  • Face masks

  • Backpacks

  • Padlocks

  • Flash drives

  • Earbuds

  • Composition books

  • Calculators
