The Guadalupe County Commissioners Court has instated a feral hog bounty policy in which participants will be awarded $5 per feral hog harvested in the county. The bounty period will run from July 16-Aug. 28.

Biological evidence in the form of a feral hog tail or a receipt from a Texas Certified Holding Facility must be provided by the participants, as well as a signed and completed W-9 form. Participants must also complete and submit a participation form.

Completed forms and tails will be accepted at the Guadalupe County Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Offce, 210 E. Live Oak St., Seguin. Tails and forms must be submitted within 30 days of harvest.
