On May 17, a brand new
H-E-B Fuel opened its doors at the grocery store situated at 651 S. Walnut Ave. in New Braunfels.
This new addition now allows customers the ability to purchase gas and diesel for their vehicles, as well as other products such as lotto tickets, snacks, drinks, ice and more.
The new and expanded H-E-B Walnut Avenue location originally
opened its doors on April 29, 2022, before demolishing the former location, completing construction to the parking lot and finishing the fuel pump expansion.
According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, $1.6 million was allocated for the construction of the new fuel station. There are three H-E-B locations in New Braunfels, including the Walnut Avenue location. 830-608-0017.
