Whether you're looking to do some Christmas shopping or celebrate the new year, here's eight things to do in Leander, Liberty Hill and Cedar Park from December to January.

The Market LHTX: Christmas Holiday Edition

Participants can shop with over 30 local vendors, selling everything from fresh grass fed meats to woodwork and baked goods.

Christmas Walk of Lights Toy Drive

The holiday-themed stroll will feature stations by local sponsors, music and artificial snow. Those who donate a toy will receive free hot cocoa.

Texas Farmers Market at Lakeline: Holiday Edition

Visitors can shop from a selection of over a hundred local vendors selling homemade goods and holiday treats.

Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland



The holiday-themed musical event will include circus performances by acrobats, aerialists and daredevils from the Cirque Musica cast. The deadline to purchase tickets is Dec. 21.

Countdown to Noon Year's Eve Eve

Children age 11 and under can play games, make crafts and at noon, celebrate the “Noon Year” with Leander Public Library. A free ticket is required for admittance and will be available starting Dec. 1.

Polar Plunge

The Robin Bledsoe Pool will open for its annual tradition of leaping into the icy cold water. Participants receive door prizes and a T-shirt.

Uttarayan Kite Flying

In celebration of the Hindu festival Uttarayan, the gathering will involve kite flying, a DJ set, food and dance performances.

MLK Day March and Celebration



The city of Leander will honor Martin Luther King Jr. with a march and celebration. The march will begin at Camacho Elementary and travel to Old Town Park where there will be performances from dancers, musicians and spoken word artists.
