The opening of a new food truck park called Shady Brew Garden in Old Town Leander has been delayed from its original spring timeline to September, co-owner Omar Dyess said.

Shady Brew Garden will offer beer on tap, wine and coffee, and up to four food trucks to choose a meal from.

Owned by Dyess, John Dyess, Chris Nguyen and Elias Cruz, Shady Brew Garden is planned to have a covered patio, live music, a playscape, lawn games, picnic tables and a dog park.

Dyess previously told Community Impact the food truck park’s location and setting along a nearby creek will make the atmosphere "inviting and family friendly."

The food trucks featured in the park have not yet been named.
