In October 2015, Corie Gemmiti adopted Frito from Texas Humane Heroes in Leander when he was just a puppy.

Frito is now 1 1/2 years old, and his owner Gemmiti is turning to social media in the hopes of finding Frito's brothers and sisters that were also adopted to reunite the dogs for a sibling playdate, according to a press release from Texas Humane Heroes.

Frito's siblings were named Domino, Snow, Raven, Cali, Buddy and Aspen, according to the release. Frito's siblings were named Domino, Snow, Raven, Cali, Buddy and Aspen, according to the release.[/caption]

“Frito has a funny little personality, so I thought it would be a cute idea to get them together and see how alike they all are after being adopted separately and apart for almost a year and a half,” Gemmiti said in a statement.

On Sept. 21, 2015, Frito and his siblings were transferred to Texas Humane Heroes from the Humane Society of Central Texas in Waco. After spending a month in foster care, they were adopted within days of becoming available. His siblings were named Domino, Snow, Raven, Cali, Buddy and Aspen, according to the release.

Gemmiti's original post on Facebook has generated more than 200 shares in less than 24 hours, according to Texas Humane Heroes.

The playdate is scheduled to take place Feb. 18 from 1-3 p.m. at the Leander Adoption Center.
