Several local roadways will undergo asphalt repair work beginning Nov. 15 in Lakeway, resulting in major and minor delays for residents, according to a statement from the city Nov. 12. Repairs will be completed throughout the week, weather permitting, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Lakeway residents should expect significant delays on Serene Hills Drive as well as minor delays with the following local roadways: Lakeway Boulevard, Rough Hollow Drive, Dragon, Lohmans Crossing Road, Lakeway Drive, Explorer, Robin Dale, Robin Dale Court, Cutty Trail, Peterson Lane, Strader Circle, Peninsula Way and Sailmaster Street.

The project will not shut down roadways, but lanes will be reduced, and there will be flaggers in high-traffic areas, the statement said. Following the repairs, a project to overlay asphalt will begin within the next couple of weeks. The two- to three-week project is expected to have a larger impact on traffic, but more traffic controls will be in place to compensate for this, according to Lakeway Communications Director Jarrod Wise.
