The Lower Colorado River Authority has issued a release stating traffic on the RM 620 bridge will stop intermittently between 9 a.m. and noon Monday, June 10 so crews can work an an LCRA transmission line. Traffic on the bridge will be be stopped in both directions for no more than 15 minutes at a time during the three-hour period, the release states. "During the traffic stops, multiple pieces of equipment, including a helicopter, will be used to remove old fiber from the transmission line," the release states. "Removal of the fiber is one of the final steps in the project to upgrade and storm harden the transmission line between LCRA’s Marshall Ford Substation and Austin Energy’s Lakeway Tap."
