The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center is a physician-owned hospital located in West Lake Hills, offering a wide range of medical services including an emergency room, orthopedic and spinal care and impatient physical therapy.
The Hospital filed for bankruptcy in September 2023 due to increased costs exacerbated by the pandemic, yet was able to fully reopen and resume normal operations in March 2025, Chief Administrative Officer Jerry Jasper said.
Now, The Hospital has also increased surgery volumes and a has fully functioning emergency room, among other services, Jasper said.
“We came out as a really strong hospital,” Jasper said. “We had the community of Westlake really backing us because we brought back the ER.”

Now, The Hospital is continuing to expand its services with the introduction of interventional radiology procedures.
Interventional radiology is a medical specialty that uses advanced imaging tools such as MRI, CT, X-Ray and ultrasound to guide minimally invasive procedures that often replace the need for open surgery, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.
The Hospital at Westlake Medical Center has partnered with Medical Vascular Partners to provide interventional radiology services spearheaded by Dr. Rajiv Srinivasa and Dr. Taylor Maloney.
Medical Vascular Partners aims to provide minimally invasive, image-guided treatment options to help address vascular and interventional conditions with less discomfort and faster recovery times than traditional surgical procedures, according to the MVP website.
