The inaugural Wine and Food Festival will be held at the Hill Country Galleria on May 31 from 3-6 p.m. Here are a few things attendees should know before the event.

The overview

The festival, put together by the Hill Country Galleria and the Wine & Food Foundation, will feature sommeliers stationed throughout the galleria, offering a variety of white, red and rosé wines, and restaurants and food trucks will offer options like tacos and charcuterie, according to a news release shared by the Hill Country Galleria.

The event will also feature live jazz performances by Honey Bee Jazz, Dave Madden Trio and Glenn Rexach in the Central Plaza.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Wine & Food Foundation to bring a fun and new experience to Hill Country Galleria,” Alora Hess, Hill Country Galleria marketing manager, said in the news release. “It will be a nice day to sip on high-quality sourced wines and snack on bites from our amazing restaurant tenants, all while supporting a great cause.”

Tickets for the festival range from $50 for general admission to $110 for VIP tickets, which include a tasting at the League Kitchen & Tavern from 1:30-3 p.m. Members of the Wine & Food Foundation pay a discounted rate of $90 for VIP tickets.
