Here is a list of events taking place throughout February and March in the Lake Travis-Westlake area.

Valentine’s Day Massacre

Crossfit Lake Travis will host the 2025 Valentine's Day Massacre. This competition allows participants to complete four workouts in teams of two on a global leaderboard, competing for cash prizes.

Upcycled Paintings: Landmarks of Austin Workshop

Austin Creative Reuse will host an 18+ acrylic painting workshop, led by artist Jennie Tudor Gray, using upcycled canvases to create paintings of famous Austin landmarks. The workshop will be suitable for beginners as well as experienced painters who will both be able to explore color mixing as well as brush techniques.

Villa Shurielle Art Reception

Artwork will be on display in the library meeting room at the library where this event will take place, and artist Villa Shurielle will be in attendance to answer questions about her work and artistic techniques. Attendees will also be able purchase artwork at the event.

Home Buyer Bootcamp

Mortgage broker Brittanie Thornton and realtor Katie Bigus will share their knowledge about the home-buying process with attendees in the library meeting room. Registration is not required.

Spicewood Live Concert with The Close

Spicewood Arts Society will present a live concert event with Nashville-based band The Close at Spicewood Vineyards. The Close are known for their unique blend of alternative rock, folk, and Americana.

Spicewood Arts’ Annual Fundraiser Gala: The King is in The House for a Cause

Spicewood Arts’ annual fundraising gala will feature a performance by Elvis impersonator Moses Snow, who has previously won third place in the International Elvis Impersonator Competition. Money raised at the gala will contribute to Spicewood Arts’ scholarship program for high schoolers at Lake Travis High School and Marble Falls High School. The evening will include a four-course dinner and wine.
