The race for Place 5 on the Eanes ISD board of trustees is no longer uncontested.

Ten-year resident Jennifer Stevens announced Feb. 8 that she has filed for a place on the May 1 ballot, according to a release from the candidate.

The district previously called the election during a Jan. 26 board meeting. Place 4 and Place 5, which are both at-large three-year-term seats, will appear on the ballot.

Place 5 is currently held by board Vice President Jennifer Champagne, who is running for re-election. Place 4 is held by James Spradley, who is also seeking re-election in an unopposed race as of Feb. 9.

Applications will run until Feb. 12. Early voting will begin April 12.
