Jennifer Stevens announced Feb. 8 that she has filed for a place on the Eanes ISD board of trustees May 1 ballot.
Stevens, a ten-year resident in the EISD boundary, is running for Place 5, according to a news release from the candidate.

Two places on Eanes ISD’s board of trustees will be up for election on May 1.
Eanes ISD officially called the election during a Jan. 26 board meeting. Places 4 and 5 will appear on the ballot. All school board positions are at-large, three-year-term seats.
Place 4 is currently held by trustee James Spradley, the board’s acting secretary. Place 5 is currently held by trustee Jennifer Champagne, the board's vice president.
Jan. 13 was the first day to file for a place on the ballot. Applications will run until Feb. 12. Early voting will begin April 12.
As of Jan. 29, Spradley and Champagne have both filed for re-election, according to EISD Communications Director Claudia McWorther. No other candidates have submitted applications thus far.
