The first rental units at the new Lynd Lake Travis apartment complex will be ready for tenants to move in by August, according to Vic Young, senior vice president of construction at Kairoi Residential, the development group managing the 312-unit project now rising at 2208 N. RM 620 north of Lakeway.

“We’re actually a bit ahead of schedule,” Young told Community Impact Newspaper, adding the goal is to have the complex’s clubhouse open at the same time as the first 56-unit, multifloor residential building.

The project is roughly 60 percent one-bedroom units, 30 percent two-bedroom units and 10 percent three- bedroom units, Young said.

Six residential, multifamily buildings are going up on the 37-acre parcel. Fifteen acres are reserved for green space, including a dog park, rain garden and walking trail, Community Impact Newspaper first reported in February.

Young said he expected unit rental pricing to be set later this spring.
