Four Seasons to open Texas' first stand-alone residential property off Lake Austin in 2025


Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and its partners announced plans Nov. 15 to build a 179-unit residential property located off Lake Austin in West Austin.

Tucked away at the corner of West Ninth and Main streets is District Six, the downtown bar owned by Justin Bohls and his brother Gary Brown. Owning a bar was a longtime dream for Bohls, which was fulfilled with District Six in March.

The 9-mile 183 North project is expected to begin construction in early 2022. The project would add two tolled lanes and one non-tolled lane in each direction along the stretch of US 183 from SH 45 to MoPac.

Slim Chickens franchise opens location in Pearland


The southern-inspired franchise serves a plethora of chicken offerings, including wing meals, chicken tenders, sandwiches, and a chicken and waffles meal.

The development will include one- and two-bedroom units with amenities such as a pool, fitness center, dog parks and outdoor pavilions, Community Development Director Nathan Dietrich said.
