Information from the city of Lakeway reminded western Travis County residents the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be flying over the Lake Travis skies May 13 in honor of front-line COVID-19 responders and essential workers. The 35-minute flyover will begin at 2:40 p.m. over Leander.

"The 6 f-16C/D Fighting Falcons will be flying in formation in Western Travis County around the 3 p.m. time frame," the update from Lakeway states.
