Thunderbirds to fly over Lakeway, Hudson Bend area in support of front-line workers

Information from the city of Lakeway reminded western Travis County residents the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will be flying over the Lake Travis skies May 13 in honor of front-line COVID-19 responders and essential workers. The 35-minute flyover will begin at 2:40 p.m. over Leander.




"The 6 f-16C/D Fighting Falcons will be flying in formation in Western Travis County around the 3 p.m. time frame," the update from Lakeway states.

The notification states viewers will be able to see the flyover from their homes and should maintain physical distancing guidelines during the event. Click here for more details.
