West Lake Hills was recognized as a 2019 silver Certified Scenic City.

West Lake Hills is among 21 Texas cities honored with the 2019 Certified Scenic City award.

Scenic Texas adopted the Scenic City Certification Program to recognize cities that are committed to high-quality standards such as scenic roadways and infrastructure and natural landscapes, according to a press release.

The city of West Lake Hills was recertified as a 2019 silver award city.

“As municipalities continue to aspire to certification and our highest level of recognition, platinum, it is a reflection of communities working to make a more scenic Texas for citizens and visitors,” Scenic Texas Executive Director Sarah Tober said.

Awards will be presented at the Texas Municipal League Annual Conference on Oct. 10 in San Antonio, according to Scenic Texas.
