Common Ground Art Fest
Hosted by artist-run nonprofit Contracommon, the full-day event will celebrate local artists with over 35 creative vendors, four live music acts and hands-on activities for all ages on the Hill Country Galleria’s Central Plaza. The festival was previously called the Summer Arts Festival.

Lakeway Wildflowers Presents 'On Stage & Screen'
The event will feature greatest hits from Broadway shows and movies performed in an a cappella, vaudeville-style variety show. Complimentary wine and bites will be available in the Lakeway Activity Center courtyard prior to the show.

Held by the West Austin Chamber of Commerce, the event will feature 20 locally owned restaurants for a night of food, live music and more. The purchase of a $50 wristband includes unlimited food and two drink tickets.

True crime author Kate Winkler Dawson will be the featured author for the “One Book, One Community” program, now in its 18th year. The event will include an opportunity to hear Dawson speak, and copies of her latest book “The Sinners All Bow: Two Authors, One Murder, and the Real Hester Prynne,” will be available for purchase and signing. The event is a collaboration between Lake Travis Community Library, Bee Cave Public Library and Spicewood Community Library.

The event will feature a festive food menu, imported beers and local lagers, live music, face painting, yard games, a costume contest and more. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to watch live music on the Central Plaza lawn.

The annual educational event allows the public to interact with first responders to learn about their jobs and see equipment such as helicopters, police cars, ambulances, fire trucks and more. A prescription drug take-back opportunity will also be held during the event.

The 1922 classic horror film “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” will be screened for the event, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Concessions will be available, with sales supporting Lake Travis High School Chamber Orchestra. Attendees are encouraged to wear vampire costumes.
