Apple Inc. has leased an entire office building in Westlake, according to a market report by real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield’s.

The tech company signed a lease for the 82,000-square-foot Las Camas I office building near Bee Caves Road.

Apple and Cushman & Wakefield’s company representatives did not immediately confirm when the lease was signed or what the space will become.

However, a January filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that the $18 million renovation to the building will be completed in October.

Some context

Despite recent layoffs across Austin's tech industry, Apple shows no sign of pausing its growth within the city.

Last year, the company also filed plans for two expansions totaling $240 million at its Northwest Austin campus.
