House of Shan was founded in 2020 by Shannon Buth, offering a variety of clothing and accessories, including custom trucker hats. Since its founding, House of Shan has donated $5 from every purchase to charities supporting women and children, along with raising over $125,000 last summer for Kerr County flood relief, Buth said.

Studio Hill Austin is owned by Grammy-winning singer Sangeeta Kaur and Grammy-winning engineer Gerhard Joost. The studio is meant to be a “creative sanctuary” for artists to make music utilizing the Dolby Atmos enabled recording studio.

The design and stoneware store relocated from Westlake to North Austin in early August. Material Bespoke offers stone, glass and ceramic tiles, along with custom architectural stonework most commonly for bathrooms, kitchens, other interiors and exteriors.

Baldinucci Pizza Romana
Baldinucci Pizza Romana’s flagship location is currently closed for renovations. The newly-renovated location is slated to reopen in November, expanding the dining room from 12 seats to 54 seats. Fans of the Italian spot can visit the restaurant’s new location in Domain Northside, which opened on Aug. 17.

Lake Travis Community Library Bookmobile
The bookmobile celebrates 10 years of providing books, mobile hotspots and other library services to the Lake Travis community. The “library on wheels” stops at various locations throughout Lake Travis including preschools, assisted living facilities, RV parks, food pantries and neighborhoods to provide mobile library services and deliver requested materials.
Salt Traders Coastal Cooking
Salt Traders Coastal Cooking is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. The restaurant will be offering a $10 special September 8-17 for the anniversary which includes a select drink and an item from the “bar snack” menu such as fried oysters, hush puppies and kettle chips.
