Bruster's Real Ice Cream in Hudson Bend closed in September at 3303 N. RM 620, Austin. The ice cream shop is owned by Rudolf Maier, who said he has no plans to reopen the business and is hoping to sell the property. Bruster’s is based in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, and has nearly 200 locations in 22 states. The ice cream shop sells dozens of different flavors, sundaes, ice cream cakes and pies, shakes, ice cream blasts and other specialty items.
