Hill Country Galleria earns industry honors for creative initiatives, including Buzzfest

Bee Cave’s lifestyle and entertainment center, Hill Country Galleria earned industry honors July 29 at the International Council of Shopping Centers 2021 Global Awards. Located at 12700 Hill Country Boulevard, Bee Cave, Hill Country Galleria took home several awards for its creative initiatives including the winter light festival, Buzzfest, which was hosted in collaboration with Bee Cave Arts Foundation and curators Barna Kantor and Kyle Evans. Other awards were earned for the galleria’s Sunset Series—a socially distant concert series held last summer in collaboration with HK Stages, Austin Event Lighting and Black Fret—as well as its “Bee Strong Together” campaign designed by Cathy Richardson of Cimi Shine which promoted health and wellness messages amid the pandemic. Anvil + Aura, a galleria-based jewelry studio also won a gold award for the most creative temporary store design. This is not the first time the galleria has earned national recognition. Hill Country Galleria was also named a top 10 comeback retail center by retail industry publication Chain Store Age in 2020.
