The Nov. 20 Rollingwood City Council meeting saw both official action and extended discussion on a number of topics. Council did not take action on every agenda item, but several stories came out of the meeting, including the following:

Council continued its discussion on banning motorized scooters within city limits. The latest talk saw officials requesting a designation of what constitutes a commercial scooter versus what constitutes a personal scooter. Read the extended story here.

The Retail Coach, a retail consulting firm that provides market research and development strategies for city governments and other entities, has issued a study to Rollingwood City Council. Among other findings, the study highlights the city’s need for multilevel development along Bee Caves Road, the city’s main commercial thoroughfare. Read the extended story here.
