About 1,700 voters turned out for the first day of early voting in Williamson County on Oct. 21, accounting for 0.5% of the vote, according to Williamson County Elections.

The department tweeted out voter turnout throughout the county. About 1,190 people voted in person, while an additional 547 ballots were submitted via mail, data shows.

Sun City Cowan Creek Amenity Center in Georgetown had the highest turnout with 250 votes cast, the report said. Liberty Hill Municipal Court had the smallest turnout with 27 votes cast, it said.

Voters in Williamson County can vote at any polling location in the county.

Early voting continues through Nov. 1, excluding Sunday, Oct. 27. Polls are open Monday, Oct. 21, through Wednesday, Oct. 30, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and Thursday, Oct. 31, and Friday, Nov. 1, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Election Day is Nov. 5.
