Main Street at the corner of the East Sixth Street intersection in Georgetown will be closed for construction July 11, according to the city's weekly newsletter.

Construction pertains to underground electrical work being completed by Ubiquity, a private infrastructure investment firm that develops and manages critical communications infrastructure throughout the United States, according to a Ubiquity representative.

The road closure will start at 7 a.m. and conclude by 6 p.m.

All through traffic is encouraged to use Fifth Street to access Main, according to the newsletter.
