The closures and planned detours come as the state demolishes and removes the original Ronald Reagan Boulevard bridge, according to TxDOT.
Beginning June 11 at 10 p.m., northbound I-35 traffic will be redirected to the frontage road at the Ronald Reagan Boulevard exit 271 and re-enter the I-35 mainlanes at Bud Stockton Loop in Jarrell.
Southbound traffic will exit the I-35 mainlanes at the Ronald Reagan Boulevard exit and re-enter at CR 143 in Georgetown.
According to TxDOT materials, the new eastbound Ronald Reagan Boulevard bridge will be open to drivers after the demolition of the old bridge is complete.
