The Texas Department of Transportation announced June 11 that I-35 will be closed from 10 p.m.-10 a.m. through June 11-12 and again from 11 p.m.-5 a.m. on June 13.

Beginning June 11 at 10 p.m., northbound I-35 traffic will be redirected to the frontage road at the Ronald Reagan Boulevard exit 271 and re-enter the I-35 mainlanes at Bud Stockton Loop in Jarrell.
Southbound traffic will exit the I-35 mainlanes at the Ronald Reagan Boulevard exit and re-enter at CR 143 in Georgetown.
According to TxDOT materials, the new eastbound Ronald Reagan Boulevard bridge will be open to drivers after the demolition of the old bridge is complete.
