Homes in each of Georgetown's three area ZIP codes spent less time on the market this September compared to last September, according to recently released data by the Austin Board of Realtors and Unlock MLS.

Georgetown area homes spent, on average, between 52-76 days on the market in September, depending on ZIP code.

ZIP code 78626 saw the largest year over year decline at nearly 25%, with homes going from taking an average of 69 days to sell to 52 days.

Meanwhile, ZIP code 78633 saw just a one day decline.


While the number of homes sold increased in both 78628 and 78633, it declined by more than 45% in ZIP code 78626.


This ZIP code had just 25 homes sell in September, while 78628 had the most at 124.


Of the homes that sold, their median price remained relatively stable year over year.

ZIP code 78628 saw the most notable change, with median price declining by about $40,000 year over year to just more than $500,000.

Meanwhile, the median price of homes sold increased in both ZIP codes 78626 and 78633, it rose by less than $15,000 in both cases.


Although homes sold in each of the following price ranges, the majority of the 232 total homes sold were between $300,000-$499,000.
