The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce has published a list of businesses affected by a precautionary evacuation that has continued for more than a month following a Feb. 20 natural gas leak at 507 River Bend Drive.

The list can be viewed here.

The chamber also plans to provide updates on temporary locations and other information from businesses subject to the evacuation.

More than 120 businesses and homes around the location of the underground leak have been under evacuation since Feb. 20. The leak itself has been repaired, but Atmos Energy crews continue to locate and remove residual gas that remains in the surrounding soil.

Atmos has provided lodging and food stipends to affected residents. The company is also working to help affected business. Atmos will provide details on when the evacuation orders can be lifted once that information is available, according to the company.

On March 20, Georgetown Mayor Dale Ross formally requested the Texas Department of Emergency Management assess the situation.
