Georgetown ISD will host a First Responder's Night this Friday. A pre-game ceremony will be held at the Georgetown High School vs. East View High School football game, which kicks off at 7 p.m at the GISD Athletic Complex & Birkelbach Field, 2272 N. Austin Ave. first responders in uniform will be admitted to the game for free. Todd York, GISD Director of Athletics, said the school district is honored to recognize first responders. "Each day these men and women put their [lives] on the line to serve and protect our community, and we wanted to present them a small token of our appreciation for all they do," York said.
