  1. CR 176 at RM 2243
Williamson County hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the project Aug. 2. The project will realign the intersection of CR 176 with RM 2243. The county will reconstruct and widen CR 176 from RM 2243 to Parkside Parkway. Timeline: mid-2019-mid-2020 Cost: $2.45 million Funding source: Williamson County road bond
2. Northwest Boulevard bridge The project reconstructs Northwest Boulevard toward I-35. The project includes the construction of a new bridge over I-35 that will function as an east-west connection. The project is part of a larger plan to connect FM 971, Austin Avenue and the Northwest Boulevard bridge. Timeline: August 2019-August 2020 Cost: $12.4 million Funding source: 2015 city of Georgetown bond
3. FM 971 The project at Austin Avenue will realign FM 971 eastward to Gann Street. Redesign of the Gann intersection is underway, and the project is in the final stages of the environmental review process. The project is part of a larger road plan to connect Austin Avenue, FM 971 and the Northwest Boulevard bridge. The project will begin following the completion of the Northwest bridge project. Timeline: construction to begin August 2021, end date unknown Cost: $3.9 million Funding sources: city of Georgetown, Texas Department of Transportation
Ongoing Projects   The addition of a right-turn lane on Williams Drive to Rivery Boulevard looks to improve traffic flow toward the Summit at Rivery complex and Wolf Ranch Parkway. Additional easements are currently in acquisition. This project includes federal and city funds. Timeline: construction to begin late 2020, end date unknown
The  Austin Avenue bridges rehabilitation project is in the environmental review process, which will make the project eligible for federal funding. In May, City Council approved about $150,000 in additional funding to go toward the project. Repairs for both bridges across the San Gabriel River will be addressed in the project. Timeline: in the environmental review process with no tentative dates for public meetings established at this time; start and end date unknown
The Austin Avenue sidewalks project is near competition. The sidewalks will improve pedestrian and Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility. Minor details remain before the project is completed. The project is part of the 2014 Sidewalks Master Plan. Funding sources include the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization and the city of Georgetown. Timeline: August 2017- fall 2019
