Self-defense class hosted by Georgetown Police Department
Williamson County Sheriff’s department is partnering with the GDP to offer a free, hands-on self-defense class for women aged 16-55. Attendees will learn ground and choke defenses as well as striking techniques from certified trainers. American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes available
Williamson County EMS offers CPR and First Aid training classes to anyone desiring to learn how to save a life or respond in a medical emergency. First Aid training is from 8 a.m. to noon and costs $30. CPR and AED training is from 1-5:30 p.m. and costs $35. Registration for both costs $45 and is available online. ‘Fresh Voices of Realism’ art exhibit opens
Georgetown Art Center highlights up-and-coming realist painters at this free exhibit.
