The Georgetown Public Library will celebrate its WOW!mobile's 10th anniversary April 15 from 11 a.m-1 p.m. according to a release.

The open house celebration will be held in the library’s Ninth Street parking lot and patio.

“It’s been a great 10 years for mobile library service in Georgetown,” Library Director Sally Miculek said in the release. “We’ve welcomed countless kids, grownups, dogs, and even the occasional cat to the WOW!mobile. We’d love to see and celebrate with you on the 15th!”

According to its website, the WOW!mobile carries a range of items, including books for children, teens and adults, bestsellers, large print titles, CDs and DVDs.

Additionally, items not found on the Bookmobile may be requested in person on the WOW!mobile, by computer or by telephone.

The Georgetown Public Library is the only library in Williamson County that provides mobile access.
