Median housing prices increased 26.6 percent to $330,000 year-over-year in Georgetown last month, according to February real estate data released today by the Austin Board of Realtors.

That number is $30,005 more than the Northwest Austin market, $39,975 more than the Leander/Cedar Park market, and $77,500 more than the Round Rock-Pflugerville-Hutto market.

However, Georgetown sold fewer homes in February than it had the year before, except for townhomes, which went from one closed sale last February to two this February. So far in 2017, there have been two townhouses sold—both in February. One condominium was sold in January. Of the 121 single family homes sold, 90 of them were existing homes and 31 were new homes.
