Activities range from meeting reptiles at the library to science experiments in the park to outdoor movie nights. Additionally, adults can enjoy the annual Blazin' Beer Crawl and classes at the Georgetown Art Center.

Reptile show
Community members can meet reptiles at the Georgetown Public Library. Austin Reptile Shows will showcase different animals such as snakes and turtles that children can touch. Tickets for the event are free and will be distributed 30 minutes before the event starts.

Build science projects at this event hosted by the Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department. Several different science projects will be available for kids to participate in, including a raft building project. The activity is recommended for children ages 12 and under.

Guests are invited to swim and watch “Lilo & Stitch” at this Georgetown Parks and Recreation Department event. Pool noodles are the only flotation devices allowed and children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.

The Good Water Master Naturalists Chapter is hosting its annual community education event, which will feature 45-minute talks from different local nature and conservation experts. Attendees will learn how to incorporate nature into their lives and about native plants, and will be able to purchase native plants from vendors.

The Georgetown Art Center is hosting its summer workshop series featuring various art classes showcasing different mediums. For this session, Joanna Karnas-Liu will lead a watercolor painting class. Participants will be taught how to watercolor cherry blossoms. Supplies are not included.

‘Cats’
The Georgetown Palace Theatre will produce the musical, which features seven cats, known as the Jellicle Cats, who come out on one special night every year known as the Jellicle Ball. As part of the show, the cats describe their life to their leader, who must then decide which cat will be reborn.

The Georgetown Main Street Program will host the fifth annual event. Attendees can choose which stores, restaurants and bars they want to attend. All participants will get a keepsake glass. Proceeds benefit the Main Street Facade & Sign Grant Program.
