Jan. 1: New Year’s Day Hike

Every Tuesday: Half-price Tuesdays at Garey Park

Enjoy a reduced entrance fee to Garey Park every Tuesday through March. Every Wednesday: Music Bingo at Barrels & Amps

Jan. 7-9: Harry Potter Movie Marathon

Spread across three days, watch all eight Harry Potter films indoors at the Georgetown Palace Theater. There will be a 30 minute break in between films and two seats of separation between parties. The films "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" will be shown Jan. 7; the films "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" will be shown Jan. 8; and the films "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" will be shown Jan. 9. 6 p.m. (Fri.-Sat.), 2 p.m. (Sun.).
