Throughout early voting, nearly 60% of Williamson County’s registered voters cast ballots.

The big picture

According to county documents, 262,316 residents voted in-person and via mail from Oct. 21-Nov. 1, making up 58.59% of the total number of registered voters in Williamson County.


The amount of voters at the county’s five most popular in-person polling locations totaled to:
  • 21,145: Williamson County Annex
  • 18,877: Brushy Creek Community Center
  • 18,509: Leander Public Library
  • 16,710: Cedar Park Randalls
  • 16,265: Wilco Hutto Annex
One-third of the county’s voters cast ballots during the first week of early voting, according to previous Community Impact reporting.

At the polls


Voting locations on Nov. 5 will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., according to Williamson County’s website. Voters should bring one of seven forms of identification to the polls, and a list of valid IDs include:
  • A Texas driver license (issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety)
  • A Texas personal ID card (issued by the DPS)
  • A Texas handgun license (issued by the DPS)
  • A Texas election ID certificate (issued by the DPS)
  • A U.S. military ID card with the voter’s photograph
  • A U.S. citizenship certificate with the voter’s photograph
  • A U.S. passport
