Dee Hobbs has been reelected as Williamson County attorney, according to unofficial results.

With all of the county’s precincts reporting, Hobbs took 53.54% of the votes. His opponent Stan O. Springerley took 46.44% of the votes.

A total of 266,706 were cast in the election, data shows.

Hobbs ran as the Republican candidate while Springerley ran as the Democratic candidate.

Results are updated as of 11:49 p.m., and are unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk. Under Texas Election law, the clerk accepts and counts mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 4, if they were sent from inside the U.S., or Nov. 9, if they were sent from outside the U.S.
