Editor's Note: This story has been updated to clarify that the relocation will happen later in the month than initially stated by the district.

The Georgetown ISD-based clinic site for Lone Star Circle of Care will be closed July 1-5, with a relocation of the clinic set to occur later in the month.

What you need to know

The Lonestar Circle of Care-Georgetown ISD Health & Wellness Center will be closed during this period, as will other district facilities, as part of GISD's modified summer schedule.

Later in July, the clinic will relocate to the grounds of the district's new Future Ready Learning Complex at 5001 Airport Road in Georgetown, per a June 24 social media post from the district. The opening date for the clinic post-relocation is forthcoming.

The clinic provides a variety of services to the greater GISD community year-round and operates on the district's summer schedule. It is open 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

The details

Services offered by the clinic include:
  • Well child visits
  • Sports and school physicals
  • Teen health
  • Immunizations
  • Medical screening

When the clinic reopens in the new Future Ready Learning Complex in July, it will offer physical-only visits for students, at a flat rate of $35. Students may attend the appointment without a parent as long as they have a signed waiver, per the district.
