The submission deadline for Georgetown ISD seniors seeking scholarships from the Georgetown Partnership is rapidly approaching.

What you need to know

GISD seniors interested in applying for one of seven $1,000 scholarships offered by the nonprofit must do so before Feb. 29, a recent notice from the district states.

According to the district, two Georgetown High School seniors, two East View High School seniors and three Richarte High School seniors will be selected to receive scholarships named for Barbara Baldwin Pierce, Jim Mitchell or Chip Richarte. The latter will only be awarded to students of RHS.


What else?

Each application includes five essay responses of no more than 150 words and requires a minimum 2.5 grade-point average.
