The Georgetown ISD Bridges 18+ program held a grand reopening event Sept. 27 to mark the reopening of its boutique at the old Carver Elementary School site, 1200 W. 17th St.

The Bridges Boutique features handmade jewelry, candles and other household items for sale.

According to the district's communications department, the boutique is a key component to the district's Bridges 18+ program—a transition program that helps young adults with disabilities move on from high school into adult life.

The program will move to the new Future Ready Learning Center when construction is completed in time for the 2024-25 school year.
