Hanna enters this new role with 18 years of experience in various financial positions in Texas public schools, most recently serving as CFO for Del Valle ISD and Liberty Hill ISD prior to that. Hanna has also served as an assistant and regional controller, financial accountant and senior auditor in corporate settings.
Hanna holds a degree in accounting from Trinity University and is a certified public accountant and certified Texas school business official.
In her new role, Hanna will be responsible for directing, managing, and providing leadership for business and operations functions for the district as well as directing and monitoring the management and investment of all district funds to ensure they are adequately protected, among other duties.
Hanna will begin her new role Oct. 17.
