Georgetown ISD is now offering online new student enrollment for the 2020-21 school year for prekindergarten, kindergarten and all other students, according to a May 12 news release.

New-student enrollment is only for those not currently enrolled in a GISD school during the 2019-20 school year. While in-person information sessions have been canceled due to school closures, campuses are still processing new student applications online, the release said.

Families have until June 11 to enroll students online. In-person enrollment dates are July 29 and Aug. 5.

Online applications can be completed on the district’s website, www.georgetownisd.org.

Families of English-speaking students interested in applying for the kindergarten dual-language program can also find more information on the district’s website. Applications for this program are due May 22, the website said.
