The ceremony will be held as part of the university’s homecoming celebration, she said.
SU graduates were planned to walk the stage May 10, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the university to cancel and reschedule the celebration and to finish off the semester from a distance.
To celebrate graduates in what would have been their graduation week, on May 8, SU will be sharing a taped video of its long-held, traditional Baccalaureate Service, Moss said.
SU has also created a virtual toast to the class of 2020 with its interim president, incoming president, president's cabinet, members of the faculty, staff celebrities and others. The toast will be made available to graduates and their families so they can include it in their graduation celebrations at home, Moss said.
