The university said it will be reaching out to representatives of the graduating class to find a way to honor students and their achievements.
"Members of the class of 2020, please look for a preliminary survey in your email in the next few days," an online announcement posted March 18 at 10 a.m. said.
Distance learning will go into effect March 30. Faculty is currently putting distance learning curricula in place, the announcement said. Professors will communicate to their students all information regarding grading policies and assignments.
Residence halls will close March 22, and room and board will be prorated for the semester.
