Georgetown ISD and a district-organized citizens advisory committee are using a phone survey to get community feedback regarding potential facility and equipment projects that could be included in a November 2018 bond election should district trustees vote to call one, according to a press release Monday. Potential bond projects would address safety and security concerns, GISD's growing student population, and the renovation or replacement of equipment and facilities that are at the end of their lifespans, the release said. The survey, which takes a few minutes to complete and is administered by an independent firm, began Monday and will continue until July 1, according to GISD.
